Scottish-based author Eve Riley was born in Dunfermline, a small picturesque town in Fife. After graduating with a degree in Mathematics, she worked in advertising agencies for ten years before setting up her own market research company, which she ran successfully for twenty years. She then began working with technology startups, which spawned the ideas for The Refusal. Over the last eight years she has been pursuing her childhood dream of writing.

Eve lives in Edinburgh with her husband and has two grown-up children. Janus and Jo’s story, The Refusal, is the first novel in The Techboys Series, and will be followed by a further seven novels.
